Popping back in to announce the third chapter of Lost Teeth Like White Jewels is up — some of you may be aware that instead of ‘final chapter’, we are muttering that this is the ‘third chapter of five’. It was a hell of a time just cutting this one down to the 16k+ it ended up as.

This story’s mostly written; it’s a case of editing, structure wrestling and hitting things into place. Roach and I have been having a case of terminally different schedules, but we’re getting the momentum back to finally roll this one away, and then we can work on other things — I’m really excited for the story after this (mostly written!) which focuses on Vriska after Pretty Little Windstorm, Kanaya’s story, and a tentatively-planned story which I will call Feferi And Vriska: Casino Royale.

But please enjoy the new chapter of White Teeth, which has some gorgeous illustrations that Roach knocked out of the park and — I must warn you — contains some explicit moirallegiance. There is a hell of a lot of moirallegiance going on in this thing. There’s also some backstory and ancestor stuff and Karkat getting smooched by seadwellers and whatever but nobody’s here for that

Some Homestuck Recs

Ah, I am worried my sweet prince Puck is going to scold me for sneaking back on the internet (I have had this ridiculous fever for the past two days that’s only recently decided to let up a little) but.. this is something that needs to be done! That’s right, HOMESTUCK RECS!

Let me start with Puck, one of the reasons I started reading Homestuck in the first place! Puck does a lot of kickass art and has just.. an abundance of awesome ideas that lean to the 18+ side, which makes me so incredibly happy! He also draws some fantastic Homestuck fanart:

The other reason I started reading is because of Rasuzu! This artist is so exceptionally talented.. the expressions, the body language, the character redesigns.. Oh my gosh, Rasu does such romantic and gorgeous work! I saw some of Rasu ’s John/Karkat post-reading and.. it honestly had a huge impact on how I viewed these characters when I got to reading Homestuck.. and in such a positive, loving way! I really adore this pairing, haha! Ah, just look at this:

Rasu does a lot of 18+ work, and has a few comics, so you are in for a treat if you are not already familiar with their work!

Also, sweet roachpatrol is a new discovery and, oh my gosh, I do love her writing and art! YES, I know, she does both super well! Look at this:
